Having trouble explaining yourself to others? Do people understand where you're coming from? When it comes to communication, people really are on 'different wavelengths'.

Communication is so much more than mere words. The animal kingdoms use non verbal communication in combination with sound, yet humans rely mostly on verbal communication and give little or no thought to the non verbal aspect of communication.

In this article I will try to explain some of the filters our communication goes through when we talk to each other or even write to each other.

To understand a little about how communication can get lost in translation, think of a dream. When you are having a dream it all makes perfect sense. At the time your consciousness is in your lightbody and in an expansive state. As you begin to wake and your consciousness comes back into your limited physical brain, you try to remember your dream, but you are only able to get snippets and piece together a two dimensional version. The dream doesn't make so much sense on waking as most of it has been lost. Take this one step further and then try to describe your dream in words and you will lose further details until it usually ends up sounding silly.

When people communicate with each other there many non-verbal things going on with the words. For example, if somebody communicates a message and the receiver does not have the 'receptors' to pick up the non-verbal things then they understand a reduced version of the communication - just like the loss of information when downloading the dream.

Here I've got some pretty basic drawings here to try an illustrate a concept. This unfortunately 'dumbs down' the information so I'll do my best to put it into words.

Most people reading this article will be already familiar with ascension - the vibrational increase of Earth and her inhabitants. With personal ascension the field around the body changes, which changes the filter through which your communication - in or out - passes.

Regardless of ascension level, each persons' filter will be different so the same information will be understood a different way with each person.

Firstly, before people start ascending they won't have all of their Subtle Bodies present - Mental, Emotional, Intuitive and Creative. They may have all of one, some of others and some missing - they may even have somebody elses' subtle bodies present.

You can see from our first picture here that the non-ascending bloke on the left has a full Mental Body, about half his Creative Body, a bit of the Intuitive Body and the Emotional Body missing all together. These bodies surround the physical body as part of the field through which our perceptions filter.

The bloke on the right has started ascending and the denser tones have left his field. He has more of his subtle bodies restored than the other guy. As these two communicate, in addition to the words going from mouth to ear are the interactions behind the words. They are well connected on a Mental level, so the words will be understood in an intellectual way. On an Intuitive level, the guy on the right is feeling much more in the interaction than the guy on the left. On a Creative level they are fairly equal. However the guy on the left is completely missing his Emotional body so he will not be feeling any part of the communication emotionally - he may be regarded as a 'cold fish', but it's just that he doesn't have the receptors to pick up on the emotional component of the communication.

In addition to the Subtle Bodies, the filter through which the communication passes and is received is dependent on the vibrational level of the field.

The non-ascending field is very polarised into right and wrong, black and white, good and bad. It is filled with programmed dogma and belief systems, random thoughts and entities, and often ungrounded (not connected to the Earth). When this person receives a communication it is filtered through all of this and via the minimal Subtle Bodies he has. You can see from this that a message sent to him from a person with a different field vibration and Subtle Body combination is not going to be received in full.

The non-ascending person relies more on a literal interpretation of the information as many of the subtle vibrations do not reach him. He will filter it through his polarised views and beliefs and re-interpret the information, losing a lot in translation.

As a person ascends they become less polarised in their perceptions and become more balanced, taking the middle path, and working towards a state of unity. The tones in the field clear from blacks and greys to the primary colours, and then on to the pastel tones of the Language of Light.

The Language of Light adds an ever increasing range of frequencies of information to the field and this will form part of the communication from an ascending person.

The second picture (above) represents an ascending person on the right who is holding all of their Subtle Bodies and the Language of Light tones in their field. When they talk to the guy on the left they are communicating much more than the words from mouth to ear. The communication is sent Mentally, Emotionally, Intuitively and Creatively through a field free of polarised thoughtform, dogma, belief systems, judgement and conditions. But how will it be received?

The receiver on the left has just started ascending but has not reached the vibrational level of the guy on the right. His understanding of the communication is coloured through his own field which is not clear and he also doesn't have the full compliment of Subtle bodies to receive the communication through. You can see from this example that, like our dream, not all of the information being sent is filtering through as intended and much of it has been 'lost in translation'. To the guy on the left, much more importance is placed on what he's hearing (or reading literally) than the non-verbal communication that forms a great part of the message.

You can see from the above examples that there are an infinate number of possible combinations of filters through which a message can pass and no two people will understand anything quite the same way. As people ascend, their filters will constantly evolve and become clearer and more unity-based.

The third picture on the left illustrates two ascending people who are 'on the same wavelength'. Communication between them will be well understood on many levels to the point where words are often unnecessary.

So, the point of this article is to illustrate why it is that everybody is on a different wavelength and why some people don't understand what you say or misinterpret your intent. It also shows that we humans are arrogant if we believe that the extent of understanding is only what we perceive through our limited filters and at our current level. We in turn, may be not fully understanding the communication of those who have clearer fields than ourselves (and not just humans). There is always more to learn and the more you ascend, the more you see how much more there is to learn and understand.

People who are not ascending will remain at a level where communication by necessity will be superficial or dogmatic rather than deep and meaningful. This is not their fault as many are unfortunately not able to ascend further in this lifetime, but in understanding their limitiations you can see why you out-grow friends and family as you ascend. While they may read ascension material on an intellectual level, they will not really understand it.

If you are ascending your perceptions and filters will change. Ascension articles and information that did not make sense or seemed absurd a year ago may now make sense on levels way beyond the mere reading of words. There comes with ascension an inner knowing that just 'clicks' when you reach the level on which the information was sent and things become obvious. Mila's articles (from the Spiritual School of Ascension) are written with a high vibration behind them. I have found with experience not to dismiss information that doesn't gel with me when I first read it. I just put it aside and when I feel guided pick it up again and find I then understand it on many levels.

By the same token I have found that information from many channels (some of whom claim to be ascending) that seemed wise and all-knowing prior to ascension are in fact very limited in their bandwidth. Once your field passes the level on which they have been broadcasting it will become obvious that you have outgrown the need for communication from this level and you will see its' limitations.

It is not just receiving communication from other people and understanding articles that is affected by the density of your field - your guidance is also trying to get through. The more your field clears and ascends, the more you are connected to Earth, the ascending nature kingdoms and your Higher Self for guidance instead of the mess of entities and external gods and gurus that surround humanity. The more you ascend, the more you hear clear guidance of your own and the less you look outside of yourself for guidance.

As you ascend you will also find those who you previously revered or worshipped - teachers, gurus or gods - are also coming from limited bandwidths. Up until a few years ago humanity was incapable of ascending so people never saw where these gurus and gods were 'coming from', they just understood they were somehow higher wiser than themselves. Those who are not ascending still do not see, as they are understanding through dogma, religion, belief systems and the hard-wired need for a saviour to worship. As one ascends past these bandwidths and releases the polarised and programmed thoughtforms, you can see clearly where they are coming from and have no further need to give away your power to them. You may still find something useful in parts of religions or teachings as all originated once from a central truth, but you will not need to give away your power to it.

One of the main criticisms of the 'new age movement' is the fact that people pick and choose bits of religions, beliefs and practices to suit themselves. The criticisms come from non-ascending people who think you should just stick to the religious dogma you were programmed with - like themselves. But as you ascend you realise the restrictions of dogma are not for you and you experiment with other beliefs and practices.

Those who ascend further tend to leave behind anything that has dogma, rules or restrictions, no matter how 'new age' or non-Christian it is as dogma is released in ascension. Unfortunately many new age teachers or practitioners are still working from these levels and you may find yourself moving beyond these and feel a bit lonely as there are fewer people on your wavelength who really understand you. However, if you have ascended to this level, remember you are a pioneer and what you learn and experience will benefit those who come after you, especially the many ascending children coming into the world.

Whenever you feel a bit lonely and the people around you don't really understand, try spending some time in nature, especially away from the cities. Feel the Earth and the nature kingdoms around you and commune with them. There are ascending adults about - they are just few and far between at the moment. If you'd like to meet others try attending a Conclave hosted by the Spiritual School of Ascension - there are two a year in different locations around the world - a very magical experience. They also have study groups of ascending people who are working on releasing karma for mankind.

Above all you can always talk to your higher self, Earth and the ascending nature kingdoms - they understand what you're going through. If you don't hear them directly, start by using a pendulum. Understand that your ascension is being watched over and you are never really alone.
